National Museums of Scotland commissioned us to design and
create an exhibition featuring the work of OCTO, a group
of
Danish practitioners working with furniture, textile printing
and fibre/textile weaving.
The exhibition aimed to introduce the artists as well as their
work. Since all eight practitioners involved could not attend
the
exhibition opening, we incorporated a permanent element which
added greatly to the visitor experience – an audio guide
recorded by the artists, and accompanied by their own photographs
of the culture in which the work was produced. |
