Edinburgh’s financial district The Exchange, is the most
important architectural development in the city since the New
Town was built in the 18th century. As part of a strategy to
brand the whole area under The Exchange name, we were commissioned
by Edinburgh International Conference Centre and Scottish Enterprise
Edinburgh & Lothians to design a radical environmental improvement
for this highly visible gateway to the city: a design that would
also conceal a large air conditioning plant for the adjacent
conference centre.
